It's cold and snowy here in Baltimore, but don't let that stop you from seeing some really good shows. At the Ottobar here in town, Redheaded Temper is up for rockingalong with The Blackjacks, The Izzy's, and, a new fave of mine, Among Wolves. If you are missing the hip hop in your life, then it doesn't get much better than Peanut Butter Wolf's B-Ball Zombie War tour which makes a stop in DC at the Black Cat. Featuring Madlib, J Rocc, and Percee P, it's sure to be a dynamite show!

Toofer Toosday - All Ages

Tiny Master Of Today are a punk/indie rock band from New York consisting of siblings Ivan, a 13 year old, and Ada, an 11 year old. I was suprised when I first heard these guys. I would have never known their youth if I wasn't told in the article. Maybe their youth is the spark of energy that envelops their music. TMOT is defenitely worth some listens and more.

I couldn't really drum up any info on the 4 year old rapper Nico. What can you really say, but the song is on the Peanut Butter Wolf's BBall Zombie War disc and features DJ Babu. I had to post this song because my ipod seems to want me to hear it repeatedly. The shuffle has played it at least 5 times within the last week and it always puts a smile on my face. Now you know.

Peanut Butter Wolf's B-Ball Zombie War!!

Peanut Butter Wolf has done it again. B-Ball Zombie War has dropped and is without a doubt fantastic. The album features new Qtip, Talib Kweli, and J Dilla stuff. There's also plenty from the rest of the Stones Throw crew plus Supreme Team(Madlib and Karriem Riggins). If you're a fan of hip hop...scratch that...if you're a fan of music, then please go get this. Also PB Wolf has put together a stonesthrow podcast(#24) showcasing the album for free download. If you haven't subscribed to this podcast go ahead and do it now. It's been consistently awesome with live dj sets featuring J Rocc, PB Wolf, Madlib, and Egon.
